LIVESTOCK AUCTION

We are pleased to announce the return of our Lake County Fair Livestock Auction!
The 2026 sale will feature market steers, lambs, goats and pigs from 4-H and Open Class exhibitors.

Registration: opens at 12:00pm on Saturday, August 1 inside the Show Barn
Auction: begins at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 1 inside the Show Barn

As in previous years, the order of the auction will be:
1) dairy baskets
2) goats
3) steers
4) lambs
5) swine

Buyers will be responsible for processing and transportation fees. Please call your assigned packing houses to inquire about packing prices.                             

Purchased animals will be cared for by the exhibitor until the packing houses pick them up from the fairgrounds on Sunday, August 2 at 5:00 p.m. On Monday, August 3, it will be your responsibility to contact your assigned packing house regarding your desired cutting and processing requirements.

To express our profound appreciation, all buyers that purchase an animal this year will be invited to a complimentary auction dinner immediately following the Livestock auction (approximately 4:30 p.m.). Two dinner tickets will be issued per animal purchased.

Please note that a 3.2% processing fee will be applicable for all credit card transactions.  Checks or cash are accepted with no fee.
