The legacy of the Lake County Fair dates back to 1928, where the Lake County Fair Association was founded. Here, we don’t just host events; we create exerpiences that leave lasting memories for our guests. Located in Grayslake, Illinois, and featuring the largest Expo Hall between Milwaukee and Chicago, the Lake County Fairgrounds and Event Center hosts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.
In November of 2023, the Lake County Fair Association earned 17 prestigious awards from the International Association of Fairs & Expositions, 3 of those awards were in recognition of our 2023 Lake County Fair sponsorship program, for ‘Sponsor Exposure,’ ‘Sponsorship Continuity,’ and ‘First Time Sponsorship.’ We are proud of the exposure that we bring to our sponsors within our local community, and are more motivated than ever to continue improving our sponsorship program in 2024.
The Lake County Fair Association is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that produces the Fair; all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. We are self-supporting and do not fall under the direct funding of any municipal, county, or state government. Proceeds generated by the annual Lake County Fair are reinvested into our educational programs and the maintenance and development of the Fairgrounds. We rely heavily on corporate sponsorships to help finance the cost of producing the Fair and fund our educational mission. The Lake County Fair Association awarded over $22,000 in 2023 to Illinois youth through premiums & scholarships.
Reaching up to 100,000 attendees, the unique promotional opportunities at the Lake County Fair are endless. They can give a tremendous amount of exposure to your products and services. We can help you increase your brand awareness and project a positive message on your behalf. If you or your company is unable to make a monetary donation, there are many other ways you can support us! Please consider an in-kind contribution. The Fairgrounds always need help with landscaping, building materials, concrete or blacktop work, mulch, printing, signage, PR and advertising, equipment usage during special projects, etc. You can also advocate for us by sharing our mission with a family member or friend. Even a quick mention on your social media would mean the world to us!
