The Lake County Fairgrounds & Event Center is dedicated to ensuring that all guests have a fun, safe and comfortable experience. Our friendly event staff is happy to help with any needs and inquiries you may have on your visit.
Location
The Lake County Fairgrounds and Event Center, located in Grayslake, Illinois, is conveniently located halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee with easy access to interstate expressways, O’Hare and General Mitchell International Airports. We are walking distance from two commuter rail lines to Chicago and just a short drive from major shopping centers, Six Flags Great America and over 8,000 hotel rooms.

Some GPS systems will require a different address: 19822 W. Peterson Road, Libertyville, Illinois. This is the old address of the farm, and will bring you to the Fairgrounds.

ADA Accessibility
The Lake County Fairgrounds & Event Center is mostly ADA accessible, although some areas of the property are unpaved and therefore difficult to navigate in a wheelchair.
Designated accessible parking for vehicles bearing valid Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) disability parking placards or license plates is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the paved main parking lot located in the front of the Event Center.
Wheelchair rental is not available.
Cell Phones/Internet
Cell phones and pagers are permitted‚ provided they do not interfere with the event or other guest’s enjoyment of the event. WiFi is available throughout the Fairgrounds.
Smoking Policy
The Event Center is a smoke free building. Designated smoking areas are located outside the building.
Service Animals
NO DOGS/PETS ALLOWED. Neither vendors nor the public are allowed to bring pets onto the grounds under any circumstance, for liability reasons, except for licensed service dogs. When associated with a show, display or competition, animals are allowed in a controlled manner (on leash, in cage), cared for properly and cleaned up after. No animals are allowed in food service areas. It is the show operator’s responsibility to enforce this rule at the gate.
Lost and Found
All lost and found items are brought to the Event Center Office. The item is tagged with the location found‚ along with the date.
Restricted Items
The Lake County Fairgrounds & Event Center has a set of rules in place to ensure a safe environment for all guests. Please be aware that the following items are not allowed on premises during events: guns, large knives or swords, remote-control drones, laser pointers, helium balloons, flammable liquids, outside food and drink, backpacks, mace, aerosol cans, pyrotechnic devices, glass bottles, graphic boards, noise-makers, or coolers. Please leave these items in your car or at home.
